The men stand in two rows and wear black tuxedos with white shirts and black bow ties. The Masonic aprons worn by the men in the front row are clearly visible and show the signs of their respective offices. The Master, in the center of the front row, holds a gavel. Three of the other men in the front row hold batons. All of the men wear Masonic collars with jewels signifying their offices. At left in the front row is the Chaplain, who wears a black robe over his clothes and apron. Four staffs are visible among the men standing in the back row. Some of the men in each row wear a badge or jewel pinned to their coat. Framed in a black wooden frame with a thin gold-colored liner. There is a round blue sticker on the back with a cream border and cream lettering inside, "From / S. Alpert / Fine / Picture Framing / 16 Kingston Street / Boston, / Mass."
