In the late 1910s and early 1920s, a group of Masonic lodges in Detroit formed a Masonic Baseball League to put their batting, fielding, and pitching skills to the test. Split into “Square” and “Compass” divisions, for some years the league staged its competitions at the Detroit Masonic Country Club. This jersey may have been worn by a member of the Ionic Lodge No. 474 team.
