Black and white photograph. Three-quarter length portrait of man, Richard A. Rowlands, with painted backdrop behind him showing columns and archway. He wears glasses and is clean shaven. He wears a black coat, pants and bowtie with a white shirt. He wears a Masonic Grand Master apron and cuffs, with a jewel on a collar resting on his shoulders. The photo is mounted on a cream board with the photographer's name, "Vang," printed at the lower right. A piece of cream paper is attached at left and folds over to protect the photo.


In this photograph, Richard A. Rowlands wears the regalia of the Grand Master of New York.
