Masonic Past Master Apron for Howard E. Clark, Belmont Lodge. OBVERSE: Off-white silk body with navy blue trim and silver bullion fringe along sides, bottom, and bottom of triangular flap. At center of body, Past Master symbol embroidered in gold metallic thread: a square and compasses with a sun at center, arc below, and half-wreath around bottom. At top PR, blue satin (likely silk) ribbon tie with silver-colored metal hardware including cast clasp at end in shape of double-headed creature (goose or serpent). At top PL, silver-colored metal hook. Underside of flap lined with off-white satin (likely silk) which bears inscription in gold ink, "PRESENTED BY / BELMONT LODGE A. F. & A. M. / TO / WORSHIPFUL HOWARD E. CLARK / MASTER BELMONT LODGE A. F. & A. M. / BELMONT, MASSACHUSETTS / 1950". REVERSE: Purple silk lining; small rectangular off-white label sewn near top with "HARDING / UNIFORM & REGALIA CO. / 30 FRANKLIN ST. / BOSTON" embroidered in gold thread. Silver-colored metal safety pin pinned near top PR corner.
