Masonic Senior Warden Souvenir or Ornament. Wooden ornament cut in shape of level is stained to a shade of medium brown; it has a gold "S" stamped on PR side at bottom, and a gold "W" stamped at PL side of bottom. Reverse plain. Ornament has hole at top through which is threaded a thin, red paper ribbon, approximately 2 feet in length, that is tied together at the ends to make a necklace.


This item belonged to Emil Cruz. Cruz (1904–1983), born in the Philippines, emigrated to the United States in 1924 at the age of 19 and eventually worked as a jeweler. He was a member of Schiller Lodge No. 263 and Damascus Commandery No. 42, both located in Detroit.
