Masonic Shrine Earring. OBVERSE: Gold-colored cast metal earring (possibly gold plate) features ball and screw fastener which has a round eyelet at bottom from which hangs a Shriner emblem. Attached with two connecting o-rings via a round eyelet at top, scimitar has two red gemstones set into handle (one at tip, one at bottom end of crossguard, and an empty spot at top end of crossguard where another one likely had once been), and fourteen small, round green gemstones set along blade. Suspended from scimitar via two round eyelets and one connecting o-ring is double tiger claw with sphinx head between, and star suspended in the same way beneath. Set along either tiger claw are approximately 30 small, round yellow gemstones (with one apparently missing near claw tip on PR side). Star has one small round red gemstone set at its center. REVERSE: Back of tiger claws and star "hollow" (indented following shape of front); backs of all three emblem pieces are shiny with slightly rough texture.
