Patriotic Order of Americans Annual Session Button. Round white metal button at top is covered with white coating (likely paper with plastic overlaid). Around its outer edge is the blue text, "PATRIOTIC ORDER / OF AMERICANS". This surrounds the Patriotic Order of Americans emblem of two interlocking yellow rings with sprigs of acacia (possibly) along their sides; at top, "P" and "O" and at bottom, "OF" and "A"; inside PR ring, an open book with yellow "F E" on it; inside PL ring, a waving American flag. Hanging from button is a red, white, and blue striped silk ribbon which bears the silver stamped text, "56TH / ANNUAL / SESSION / [double lines] / NATIONAL CAMP / P. O. of A. / [double lines] / BALTIMORE, MD. / OCT. 20-22, / 1952". On reverse of button, straight pin oriented vertically; round white paper insert.
