a: Round purple Masonic Scottish Rite 33rd degree cap. Purple velvet trim with gold borders is applied around the cap. The velvet section has a gold bullion leafy vine. At center front is a Salem cross with crosslets in purple with gold borders. Each side of the cap has a round gold-tone button with the Scottish Rite double-headed eagle symbol. Extending between the two buttons is gold cord. Lined with purple silk and machine-embroidered in yellow "Stanley F. Maxwell." Inside the edge is a brown leather sweatband. The maker's name is stamped on the sweatband. b: Round brown case with handle at top. Zipper closure around the case. The case is stamped in gold on one side "Stanley F. Maxwell."
