Silver commemorative medallion with ribbed edge. OBVERSE: "Grande Loge Suisse Alpina / 24 June 1844 / ARGOR 999.9" At top, delta with all-seeing eye at center and rays behind; below, clasped hands with clouds at either end over square and compasses. REVERSE: Female figure in ancient Greek dress with three stars over head, right arm extended to hold flaming lantern, anchor below left forearm; collonaded temple with steps in background; olive (?) tree and sword to right of figure. Impressed "242" to PR of figure on pavement; "ESPERANCE ET CORDIALITE ORIENT DE LAUSANNE / 12 JANVIER / 1822-1972".
