Hand-pieced and machine-assembled quilt in Bicentennial Star pattern. Sixteen pieced stars in red and white form a center medallion. The stars are 11 by 12 inches each. White ground. Three borders; the first is red, followed by a white border and a blue border. All borders have mitred corners. Hand-quilted in a geometric design with diagonal lines, diamond swags, braided swags and feather swags. Poly batting. Backing is a white cotton with overall print of blue stars and red dots. Solid blue applied binding.
