Pewter Wall Clock, Royal Order of Jesters, Phoenix Court No. 17. OBVERSE: Pewter clock is circular, shaped like a plate or dish with a depressed inner portion and a raised rim. Rim 1-1/8" wide and features carved or stamped dark grey, matte-finish text around it in a calligraphic style: "Royal Order of Jesters / Phoenix Court No. 17". Inner portion features two clock hands at center, one shorter and one longer, both of dark grey metal; hands are affixed with gold-colored metal rivet that has several dark grey metal washers between it and a gold-colored disk that abuts the face of the clock. Central design on face, all carved or stamped and in dark grey, matte-finish text, is of the outline of the state of Arizona with a cowboy in the center whose hat has a "17" on it, with a Marshal's office and some cactuses behind. Above this is "SCOTTSDALE / CAPER [roman numeral 3]"; below it, "A. MARSHALL AUSTIN / DIRECTOR / 1982"; surrounding design, within borders of two concentric circles, are the hours marked in roman numerals. REVERSE: Plain pewter back features rectangular, grey plastic unit for housing battery and works affixed to center. Its top section is translucent, and has a white cylindrical dial for setting clock on its lower PL face; it also has a rectangular beige sticker on it with the black printed text, "13-6506-00 / 1212-0 (C-R) / 82032LG" as well as a hollow, triangular extension at the top for hanging the clock. Its bottom section is opaque with a metal tab on one side for holding battery in place. Handwritten on pewter in black ink above plastic unit is "TRAVIS". Raised rim along inner circle of back, and raised inch-long pewter bar near top of outer rim.
