Masonic Grand Lodge of the State of New York Medallion. a: Gold medallion obverse is concave on its surface with a raised relief design at center of two winged fauns (possibly) on either side of a cross within a wreath, four symbols inside, and a square and compasses below; the text, "THE GRAND LODGE OF FREE AND ACCEPTED MASONS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK" surrounds image. On reverse, square and compasses at top with " "BEHOLD HOW GOOD / AND HOW PLEASANT / IT IS FOR BRETHREN / TO DWELL TOGETHER / IN UNITY / 1781-1981" with leafy sprigs around either side, and raised edge. Along side of medallion, [copyright symbol] 1980 MACO-BRONZE". b: Square cotton wool pad. c: Square cotton wool pad. d: Box lid is covered in textured, slightly shiny off-white paper, with remnants of adhesive tape stuck to two sides, and semi-circular shapes cut out from opposite two sides. Inside lid is white paper, with "Medallic Art Co. / Danbury, Ct." printed in black. e: Box bottom is covered in textured, slightly shiny off-white paper, with remnants of adhesive tape (two pieces) stuck to bottom.
