Color photograph of two women, both members of the Masonic Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America. The woman on the left is Florence Margaret (Schoenherr) Grubey. She wears glasses and a peach-colored dress. She has a white fez on her head with a red tassel. The fez reads, "Marvia 27 / Past High / Priestess / Albany, N.Y." She also wears a plastic nametag pinned to her dress. The woman on the right wears a green dress with gold trimming. She wears a white fez with yellow tassel. Her fez reads, "Grand Council / Grand / Marshal." Handwritten in ink on the back is "May 1994 / Louisville, KY."


The Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America (LOSNA) was founded in 1903. It is not an auxiliary of the Shrine, but its own distinct organization. The Grand Council was organized in 1914. Members must be related to a Master Mason or Shriner by birth, marriage or adoption.
