Masonic Grand Chapter of Virginia Order of the Eastern Star Pendant. OBVERSE: Flat, circle-shaped pendant, likely brass, inlaid with multicolored enamel bearing seal of the Order of the Eastern Star in center. Seal has thin, pentagon-shaped brass outline with 5-point star inside of it. Clockwise from top PL, star's points contain 1) blue enamel with sword and veil, 2) yellow enamel with sheaf of barley, 3) white enamel with crown and sceptre, 4) green enamel with broken column, 5) red enamel with chalice. In center is smaller pentagon infilled with white enamel and featuring a open bible on an altar. REVERSE: Oval, yellow enamel-infilled "smiley face" in center has black enamel eyes and mouth. The raised text, "BELIEVE IN ANGELS" is in an arc above it, and a ring of white enamel encircles the whole image. SIDES: At top of pendant is protruding semi-circular ring for attaching to chain or ribbon. Machine cutting marks around sides.
