Masonic Scottish Rite Commemorative Medallion, Valley of Northern New Jersey. OBVERSE: Circular medallion of gold-colored metal with dark blue and red enamel inlay. In center of medallion, raised gold Scottish Rite 32nd Degree emblem (double-headed eagle with banner over sword clutched in talons; banner bears text, "SPES MEA IN DEO EST"; delta in middle has "32°" at center); delta infilled with dark blue enamel. Behind emblem is Teutonic cross infilled with red enamel; behind cross, raised gold radiating rays. Dark blue enamel-infilled border surrounds edge of medallion, with raised gold text reading, "SCOTTISH RITE FREEMASONRY" along the top and "NORTHERN MASONIC JURISDICTION" along the bottom; two stars on either side between text arcs. Gold outer rim of medallion features rope-like texture. REVERSE: Gold-colored metal with dark blue enamel inlay. In center, raised bust of David A. Glattly in gold with radiating rays behind. Surrounding design is dark blue enamel-infilled border with raised gold text reading, "VALLEY OF NORTHERN NJ" along the top and "HOME OF S.G.C. DAVID A. GLATTLY, 33°" along the bottom; two stars on either side between text arcs. Gold outer rim of medallion features rope-like texture. Sides of medallion smooth, plain metal.
