Pair of Child's Moccasins and Envelopes of Beads; a-b: Pair of child's beaded moccasins of leather; beaded design in red, blue, white; c-e: three envelopes with beads; c: reads Elizabeth Skinner Beads given to Mrs. Thompson of Winterport, Me by Big Thunder of Penobscot Tribe. He claimed them to be some of the original jewels sent over by Queen Isabella.; d: Eleanor Skinner Wampum bought from Big Thunder of the Penobscot Indians Wampum is the same as the belt given to William Pwnn by Indians and now exhibited in Philadelphia. It is made by the squaws from muscle shells using stone implements. Requires 1 day for 1 bead.; e: Red beads gave by Big Thunder to cousin May claimed to be original jewels given by Queen Isabella. not glass-like paste beads.
