Sepia-tone photograph of a fraternal group, probably the Improved Order of Red Men. Backdrop shows trees and a teepee. The men are arranged in three rows and almost all wear Native American buckskin costumes and black wigs of long hair. A few of the men wear feather headdresses, while two do not wear buckskins. Instead they wear street clothes and a sash. Some of the men hold drums, some dirks, and one holds a pipe.
