Signed and Sealed: Masonic Certificates, corridor, part one, 2017 Master Mason Certificate, 1820 Issued to Thomas Fisher, Mount Moriah Lodge, No. 132, New York, New York Engraved by William Rollinson (1762-1842), New York, New York A2003/025/001 The Grand Lodge of New York first ordered a certificate of this design in 1784. About ten years later, the plate had worn out and Grand Lodge officials commissioned engraver William Rollinson to make a new one. Two decades after Rollison produced the replacement, the Grand Lodge had a French version of the text added to the certificate for the convenience of New York City’s growing population of French-speaking lodges.
