Sixth-plate cased daguerreotype; unidentified seated man in Sons of Tammany, or Columbian Order regalia. Hand colored with red, blue, and gold. Regalia consists of collar trimmed with red and blue; sash of blue field with white stars, red and white stripe; apron with gold fringe and stars. Leaning on shield with gold fringe, central design of Indian leaning on striped shield, surrounded by fifteen stars and topped with bow, lance, and axe. Half case.
