Black-and-white stereophotograph or stereocard mounted on a yellow card, showing six people standing and looking over a rail inside a building. Two rows of columns on the same floor as the six people are supporting the story above. The columns in the second row are joined together by four arches. The opening below the largest arch leads to a staircase. A sign on the rail in the front reads "Consulado / de los / Estados Unidos," indicating that this building is the American consulate in Mexico. The upper story also features a rail in the front, with columns behind it. Printed in black on the front is "Photographed and Published by Kilburn Brothers, Littleton, N.H. / Entered, according to act of Congress, in the year 1873, by Kilburn Brothers, in the Office / of the Librarian of Congress, at Washington. / No. 1074. In the center of the back side of the card, there is an ornate trademark with the letters "KB."
