He has an epaulette on his shoulder and a jewel pinned to his coat. He wears a black sash and triangular apron with skull and crossbones. He wears light-colored gauntlets and holds a sword in one hand and a black chapeau-de-bras in the other hand. Gilt print on reverse reads "S. Piper, / 905 Elm Street, / Manchester, N.H."; written in pencil is "Harvey Currier."
