Knights of Malta magic lantern slide. Three-inch diameter circular glass mounted in a rectangular cherry frame. Colored image shows a mottled yellow and pink groun with a gold Ark of the Covenant. Maker's information is on glass.


The word "mercy" is written in pencil on the bottom of the slide frame.This may be in reference to the top of the ark, which was also referred to as the "Mercy Seat."
