Masonic pocket watch; model 1; 14 size; glass back; face reads "DUDLEY"; bridge plates in form of Masonic symbols, production model using square and compasses surrounding letter "G" as center wheel bridge; engraved gold Bible. Marked "19 Jewels" with a serial number of 1822 (or 3).


In the 1920s, William Wallace Dudley (1851–1938), an active Freemason who spent his career in the watch business, founded a company to make pocket watches designed to appeal to his fellow Masons. His patented design featured parts formed in the shape of Masonic symbols. These parts were visible through a glass bezel on the back of the watch.
