Collar composed of maroon velvet (likely silk) on obverse, with gold-colored metallic thread in a swirling pattern trimming edges, gold bullion fringe, and a gold bullion "G" applied to center of PR side and an "N" to the PL side. On reverse, maroon silk backing is worn through in spots and showing black fabric (likely cotton) inside.
