Photo of 2 Masons wearing aprons. Photo in paperboard mat sleeve. OBVERSE: Photo is black and white and features two standing men in tuxedos wearing masonic aprons and pocket jewels, one older (PR) and the other younger (PL). Younger man also wears collar with square jewel; he holds handle end of a gavel, and the other man holds the head, which appears to be cuboid or rectangular in shape and has metal panels applied to ends and center. Photo background may be interior of lodge; bottom half of square and compasses symbol is visible along top PR of photo. Mat is of off-white paper and features tannish, 1/2"-wide border around rectangular cut-out for photo; underneath cut-out is the grey embossed text, "samuel cooper" (on PR side) and "brookline, mass." (on PL side). REVERSE: "13702" handwritten in pencil at top of photo. Back of mat sleeve is glossy and features an irregular, wrinkled texture. INTERIOR OF MAT: Has tape remnants and residue.
