Color photograph of the Sovereign Grand Commanders of the Americas. Image shows thirty-seven men in three rows, the front row sitting, in a lodge room. The men wear Masonic collars, caps, sashes aprons, and jewels. A large framed painting is on wall behind men and a row of flags stand behind the second row. A seal stamp on the upper proper left corner reads in outer ring "VII REUNIAO DOS SOB: GR: COMl DE AMERICAS: RIO DE JANEIRO--BRASIL: 19/23 DE AGOSTO DE 1974." On inner ring it reads "Sup: Cons: DO GR: 33° DO R: E: A: A: PARA A REPUBLICA FEDERATIVA DO BRASIL —." A double headed eagle is at center. On reverse, the names of commanders are printed with the stamp seal at lower proper right side. There is some yellowing at borders on reverse.
