Badge with horizontal gold-tone pin bar that has a purple ribbon hanging from it. Suspended from the ribbon is an octagonal medal. In the center of the front is a bust portrait of Henry Price with his signature below. On one side are the years "1733 / 1933." Around the outer edge is text reading, "Provincial Grand Master Founder of Duly Constituted Masonry in America." On the opposite side is text reading, "200th / Anniversary / of the / Grand Lodge of / Masons / in / Massachusetts." Below the text is the seal of the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts with a banner reading "1733" and "1933."


Badges for the 200th Anniversary of the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, 1933. Attended by 12,000 Masons, the final day of the 200th anniversary festivities took place on June 28. Guests from 24 states and the District of Columbia, as well as representatives from England, Scotland, Australia, Brazil, and four Canadian provinces, were present. The Grand Lodge held a general meeting with music and orations. At the event, organizers wore different colored badges to signify their roles: green for the Transportation Committee, purple with a white stripe for the Bicentennial Committee, light blue for Lodge Masters, red for the Registration Committee, solid white for escorts, and white with purple stripes for the Ladies’ Committee.
