Lantern slide in color. Image shows a scene from the ballad "The Spectre Pig" by Oliver Wendell Holmes. The image shows a man hanging upside down in a barn unconcious at nighttime. He is hanging by his feet on a sharp wooden dowel. A clock tower is pictured in the background. A label printed in black is applied to one end of the slide and reads, "8. A ghastly shape was swinging there, It was the butcher man." "Economic Series" is printed in silver lettering on black frame on other side of slide.
