Independent Order of Odd Fellows tracing board; at top: a radiant all-seeing eye; beneath: horizontal group of a skull and crossbones, three links of a chain, and a winged hourglass; center: dove in flight bearing an olive branch; beneath in horizontal alignment: owl, beehive, "heart-in-hand"; blue-gray background; trompe l'oeil border simulates a frame with cut corners; painting signed by artist in the lower right corner: "M.L. Spencer /1897."
