Album Quilt by United Order of Independent Odd Ladies. OBVERSE: White cotton quilt with mostly red, but also blue, green, and purple cotton thread embroidery. Narrow red fabric trim around edge. Features 56 squares separated with decorative branch-like pattern at their borders, each from a different lodge of the United Order of Independent Odd Ladies. From top to bottom, left to right, the text on these include (but are not limited to) the following names and towns: Hawthorne; Highland Lodge; Harmony; Mayflower; Laurel Lodge; Summit Lodge; Lincoln Lodge; Glenwood; Boynton; Lowell Lodge; Oakwood; Hope Lodge; Fraternity Lodge; Cascade Lodge; University Lodge; Amity Lodge; Supreme Board; Mother Osborne; Friendship Lodge; Olive Branch; Perseverance Lodge; Southbridge Lodge; Liberty Lodge; Granite State Lodge; Fitchburg; Naomi Lodge; Goodwill Lodge; Hamblin Lodge; Brintnall Lodge; Haverill; Maple Lodge; Fidelity Lodge; Blue Hill Lodge; Ruth Lodge. Designs include imagery such as thistle, cornucopia, harp, crescent, owl, beehive, spinning wheel, chain links, "G", crown, horseshoe, all-seeing eye, olive branch, spider web, anchor, cross of life, mistletoe, scales. REVERSE: White cotton fabric with evenly-spaced red dots of thread where panels were affixed to front.
