Child-size quilt in pieced Irish Chain style pattern. Predominantly red, white, and blue in a variety of prints. 25 blocks are 7 inches square. One outer border is 1 1/2 inches wide in a fabric with a white ground and small red pattern. The top includes solid red, red and blue prints and stripes and blue and white check fabric. The backing is solid red and composed of two pieces. The straight-applied binding is red and has squared corners. The quilt is hand-pieced and hand-quilted. The quilt has a thin batting. The quilting is done in diagonal parallel lines at six stitches to the inch.
