Lettering reads "Welcome Lodge No. 829 F. & A.M. / Amsterdam, New York / This is to certify that / M.W. Richard A. Rowlands / was elected an honorary member / of Welcome Lodge No. 829 F. & A.M. / on October 10, 1950." At the bottom are facsimile signatures for the Secretary and the Master. Along the left side is a facsimile signature "Richard A. Rowlands."
